Biography[]
King Endymion is the king of the future Crystal Tokyo. His name taken by Mamoru Chiba during the reign of Neo-Queen Serenity in the distant future.
Act 19 - King Endymion whispers instructions to Tuxedo Mask.
Act 20 - When Chibiusa Tsukino goes to hug her father, she passes right through him. King Endymion is proud of his daughter for travelling to the past. When Sailor Moon notices the he doesn't cast a reflection, King Endymion explains he is not presently flesh and blood. His psychical body is in another room unconscious. What Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus, Tuxedo Mask, Chibiusa, Luna and Artemis can currently see is an astral projection, a spirit that has left it's body. When they still don't realise who he is, King Endymion introduces himself as Tuxedo Mask's future self. Diana informs Chibiusa that King Endymion has been watching over her from the shadows the whole time she was in the past. Everyone is shocked to discover the King's wife, Neo-Queen Serenity is Sailor Moon's future self and their daughter is Chibiusa. King Endymion explain what happened to his wife the day the Earth was attacked. Ever since she was a baby, the King often told his daughter stories of her mothers heroism and exploits as Sailor Moon, which is why Chibiusa instinctively thought to go to the past to seek help once disaster hit.
When Tuxedo Mask inquires as to why he and the Queen haven't aged in over 900 years, King Endymion explains the life-span of the Royal family is about 1000 years. Generally the rate of ageing halts after adulthood. It is all due to the power of the Legendary Silver Crystal that gave the Queen an extended life and eternal youth. The King has also benefited from it's power and gained extended life when he married into the Silver Millennium family. After they took over the throne in the 21st century an era of longevity begun in Crystal Tokyo. Now nearly everyone on Earth has gained extended life and lives well into their 10th century without growing frail. Having been granted its greatest wish humanity begun an era of peace they thought would last forever. But they were wrong. An enormous black monolith appeared along with an explosion, it siphoned off all energy and space became distorted. Then people began to vanish one by one due to the distortion until no one was left. The Only thing that could save Earth was the Silver Crystal but the only one who can use it is Neo-Queen Serenity who is unconscious and won't wake up.
When Sailor Venus inquires if he knows who the Black Moon are, King Endymion explains Nemesis is an illusory planet whose orbit is impossible to calculate. For too long, no one was able to detect its existence. Centuries ago a lone criminal from Earth received the ultimate sentence and was exiled there, after which the planet was sealed off and became a forbidden planet. However in the 30th century a massive energy from Nemesis caught scientists attention and wanted to renew study of the lost world but they never got the chance. Nemesis was hijacked by a militant group that renounced the peaceful ways and longevity. The Black Moon started many conflicts, treason, terrorism and committed mass murder. Eventually they made the planet Nemesis their headquarters and begun to attack Earth. The King has doubt that the Black Moon Clan's goal is to destroy everyone on Earth, steal the Silver Crystal and make Earth their own.
Together, Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus, Tuxedo Mask, King Endymion, Luna and Artemis discover the Black Moon's plan to travel into the past to change time and invade using the Evil Black Crystal. When Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask begin to disappear, King Endymion instructs them they must return to their own time immediately before they disappear altogether. Multiples of a single person cannot be in the same time zone or they could cause a rupture in the space-time continuum. Being in such close proximity to their future selves creates a paradox that risks tearing the fabric of time.
King Endymion informs them Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter are probably being held captive on the planet Nemesis and they should all work together to rescue them upon their next return to the future. Because he is unable to protect his daughter in his current form, Chibiusa must return with the others to the future. King Endymion finds it strange to speak to his younger self face-to-face. He informs them of a short-cut to the Space-Time Door at the rear of the Palace. King Endymion requests a Silver Key from Sailor Pluto even though it is a crime to travel through time, the current situation makes it a state of emergency.
When Esmeraude grabs Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus and Tuxedo Mask, King Endymion encourages Tuxedo Mask not to give up. Tuxedo Mask and King Endymion preform Tuxedo La Smoking Bomber and destroy Esmeraude.
Act 21 - Sailor Venus, Tuxedo Mask, King Endymion, Luna, Artemis and Diana discover Nemesis has disappeared from orbit again. When Sailor Venus suggest they need someone to use the Silver Crystal and Luna proposes Chibiusa, King Endymion reveals that unfortunately Chibiusa has no power nor can she transform. He believes one day Chibiusa will awaken, she will grow up, it is her destiny to protect the planet.
When Luna inquires how the war with the Black Moon begun, King Endymion explains there was once a time some centuries ago Crystal Tokyo was at peace. But a man appeared in insane ruler called Death Phantom who brought crime and massacre with him. Neo-Queen Serenity had quietly watched over Crystal Tokyo until then, but she went forth to combat just that once. Phantom was captured and sent to Nemesis. Afterwards the planet was sealed away. Just when peace had finally returned and people had forgotten, rebels with crescent-shaped marks on their foreheads going by the name "Black Moon" appeared saying they'd kill all the people of the Moon Kingdom. King Endymion won't allow the Black Moon to have their way anymore, he refuses to let them cause anymore harm.
While searching for Chibiusa, King Endymion asks Sailor Pluto to lend her strength to Tuxedo Mask and Sailor Venus so they may find Sailor Moon.
Act 22 - When King Endymion run out of the library Tuxedo Mask follows him. Sailor Pluto explains to King Endymion and Tuxedo Mask that Chibiusa went deep into the Space-Time void without a Silver Key and vanished.
King Endymion waits with Sailor Pluto, Sailor Venus, Luna and Artemis at the Space-Time Door, when Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter arrive.
Act 23 - Diana advisers King Endymion that Neo-Queen Serenity would never abandon her loved ones. When Black Lady enters the Crystal Palace, King Endymion is shocked to see his daughter all grown up. After she is exiled from the Palace, Sailor Moon, King Endymion, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus gather outside where Black Lady landed and she explains she used to be known as Chibiusa now she is Black Lady, the Queen of Darkness.
Act 24 - King Endymion notices a glow from the Crystal Palace. When Black Lady summons the real Wiseman to show himself, a planet descends that King Endymion recognises as Nemesis.
Act 25 - Just as Prince Demande is about to bring the two crystals together, King Endymion helpless to stop him, Sailor Pluto commands time to stop. Usagi, Inner Senshi, Tuxedo Mask, Luna, Artemis, King Endymion are released from the time freeze before time resumes and they gather around a weakened Sailor Pluto. King Endymion believes Sailor Pluto was reckless in stopping time.
Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Tuxedo Mask, King Endymion, Sailor Chibi Moon, Luna, Artemis and Diana get trapped in distorted space by Death Phantom.
Act 26 - Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus, Tuxedo Mask, King Endymion, Sailor Chibi Moon, Luna, Artemis and Diana return to 30th century Earth without Sailor Moon. Upon awakening Neo-Queen Serenity immediately goes to her sleeping husband. When she kisses him, King Endymion's spirit returns to his body and he wakes-up. No longer a disembodied spirit, King Endymion emerges from the Crystal Palace with his wife.
