Koan is a character in Sailor Moon Crystal.
Appearance[]
Koan has long wavy dark purple hair which she wears down except for two knots and dark purple eyes. She wears a pink onesie with purple stripes, a dark purple tutu and dark purple heels. She also wears a black rose corsage around her neck and black crystal earrings. She has the symbol of the Black Moon clan on her forehead.
Biography[]
Koan is a member of the Black Moon Clan. She is the youngest and most extreme of the four Spectre Sisters who works for and obeys Rubeus as one of his loyal minions. She is the first sister to confront the Sailor Senshi.
Mission - Code 001 Operation Re-cruit. Obtain the Silver Crystal at any cost and raise an army by converting humans to join the Black Moon
Act 15[]
When Rubeus summons his faithful servants the four Spectre Sisters, Koan senses a strong aura of sympathy surrounding the Silver Crystal. Koan knows that one of the protectors guarding the Silver Crystal has a power similar to hers, a fellow psychic who can control fire.
Koan poses as a student at T-A Academy for Girls. Koan sets up a fortune telling booth with the Supernatural Phenomenon Association club. She upsets her clients by predicting the date of their death and convince them to join the Black Moon. When Rei Hino interrupts her, she introduces herself as Koan Kurozuki and offers Rei a reading to which Rei declines.
Koan introduces herself to the Sailor Guardians as the youngest and and most extreme of the four Spectre Sisters. Sailor Mars uses her new attack Burning Mandala while it destroys 4 Droids, Koan avoids the attack by jumping out of the way. Koan attacks Sailor Mars with her fire power, trapping her in an unbreakable flame sphere barrier. Sailor Moon uses Moon Tiara Boomerang against Koan but she reflects it back at her with fire and just before the tiara hits Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask knocks it down with his staff. Sailor Moon uses her new weapon the Cutie Moon Rod to preform Moon Princess Halation which destroys Koan.
Act 18[]
Calaveras evokes the spirits of her fallen sisters emerge from the Sailor Guardians friends. Koan emerges from Kotono Sarashina, Petz emerges from Ittou Asanuma and Berthier emerges from Naru Osaka. Sailor Venus uses her newest attack Rolling Heart Vibration against the spirits but the power goes right through them. The four Spectre Sisters use Spirit Energy Attack against Sailor Venus, which makes her body begin to tear apart.Gallery[]
